​Hikes from the domain

In the middle of nature, you can enjoy many short hikes departing from the farmhouse:
1- The Chemin des Tertulliers which leads to the village of Saint-Julien-De-Cassagnas. Before the village, don't forget to go see the waterfall by taking the path on the left after the bridge which crosses the Auzonnet.
2- The Segoussac dam and lake passing through the town of Mas Clauzel . You can extend the walk by joining the Plateau de Rousson and its Castellas , topped by a virgin dominating the entire Alès basin.
3- The Trappist path passing through the oratory, the woods, the Mas de la Blaquière and Saint-Jacques and the town of Saint-Julien.
4- Walks in the middle of the fields and undergrowth around Valat de la Bécarasse .

Unmissable villages

- Vézénobres : . Authentic village of Gard with its small streets. 30 mins.

- Anduze : Famous for its pottery and its bamboo grove. At 35 min.

- Saint-Ambroix : Typical and authentic village. The Dugas chapel and the Gisquet tower are worth a detour. 15 mins.

- Barjac : Among the most beautiful villages in Gard. 30 mins.

- Uzès : A place not to be missed, particularly for visiting its Duchy and its historic streets. 40 mins.

- Saint-Jean-du-Gard : unmissable village. We recommend a visit to the Maison Rouge and a trip aboard the Cévennes steam train. At 48 min.

- Sauve : A pretty Gard village built on the side of a rock which has the particularity of having the last artisan fork cutter. 50 mins.

- Without forgetting Rochegude, Lussan, Montclus, Roque-Sur-Cèze...

Historical places

- Ruins of the Allègre castle : visit to the ruins of a knights' village and superb panorama of the Cévennes. 10 mins.

- Pont du Gard : an exceptional historic site. At 1am.

- Château de Portes : possibility of guided tour with Mariette EMILE . 30 mins.

- Château le Cheylard d'Aujac : magnificent 360° view of the region. 50 mins.

- Nîmes : the Arena, the Maison Carrée, the Tour Magne and the Fontaine gardens. At 1am.

- Villeneuve-lès-Avignon at 1h10: La Chartreuse , the Tour Philippe-le-Bel and Fort Saint-André are 3 sites to discover without hesitation.

- In the Camargue, the medieval town of Aigues-Mortes : an exceptional town by the sea known for its ramparts and salt marshes. At 1:15.

Natural places

- Grotte de la Cocalière : Ideal for the family. 20 mins.

- Salamandre Cave : Another attractive cave. 30 mins.

- La Bambouseraie in the Cévennes: emblematic place. At 35 min.

- Vallon-Pont-d'Arc : An unmissable place for swimming, walks and canoe trips. 40 mins.

- Mialet : Take advantage of the banks of the Gardon to cool off in this mecca of the Camisard revolt and take the time to visit the Trabuc cave and its 100,000 soldiers. At 45 min.

- Sautadet waterfall : Emblematic natural site presenting a series of waterfalls and rapids formed by the Cèze. At 55 min.

- Mont Bouquet 20 minutes away, Cirque de Navacelles 1 hour 50 minutes, Mont Aigoual 2 hours away.

Museums

- Maison Rouge in Saint-Jean-Du-Gard: Installed in the last silk spinning mill in France, a very complete site on the history of the region.

- The Witness Mine in Alès and the Miner's House in Grand-Combe to understand the region's industrial past.

- For the youngest: Préhistorama in Rousson and the unmissable Haribo Museum in Uzès.

- The Cévennes steam train : Walk between Anduze and St-Jean-du-Gard

- Vagabond Trails : Let yourself be guided in the Cévennes for a mountain bike ride, a canyoning experience, a hike...

- Bel Air Distillery : the secrets of artisanal organic essential oils. 20 mins.

-Cap Canoé : The Gorges de la Cèze by canoe or kayak. At 13 min.

- Aqua Forest : Tree climbing, Water jump, Laser Game, Escape... 30 min.

- Dinopédia Parc : an immersion in another world where real-size animated dinosaurs will immerse you in their universe. At 35 min.

- The mill dinette : in St-Julien-De-Cassagnas: in July-August small homemade dishes on the banks of the Auzonnet. 3 mins.

- Vanille-Café : Creole restaurant on site or to take away in St-Julien-De-Cassagnas.

- The Cévennes fresh basket : Grocery store and bread store in St-Julien-De-Cassagnas.

- Urban Parc : Green Food Bistrot-Gallery with multi-activity park. Alès 20 minutes away.

- Le Clos des Arts : one of the best restaurants nearby. The Magi at 12 min.

- Le Bistrot de Lussan : very good restaurant in a pretty village. At 26 min.

- La p'tite Cévenole : organic eggs, jams, syrups and soaps. In Salindres. Annabelle can also come to your home.

- Le Mas Del Fray : breeder and producer of Barons des Cévennes pigs raised outdoors under chestnut trees. Friday-Saturday-Monday at the Halles d’Alès.

- La Ferme de Bellis : Pélardon and chestnut products in Mialet.

- La Ferme de Valmalle : chestnut-based products. In Chamborigaud.

- Le Domaine de Cassagnas : discover the excellent natural wines of this new local wine estate. 5 mins.

- The Domaine de Berguerolles : a good address to discover a Gard wine grower or to eat in the summer in a bucolic setting. At 12 min.

- Lou Gàubi Cevenòu : cheeses from cows, goats and sheep raised outdoors.

- The Ferme de Bruguerolle and the Mas de Bruguerolle in Saint-Ambroix.

- La Fontaine d'Arlinde : fishing and retail sale of trout. Les Fumades 11 min.
